[MIP #70] - Magpie’s Stance on the Radiant Capital Small Deposit Remediation Plan

Abstract

This proposal seeks to determine whether vlMGP holders support Radpie’s proposal (RIP #18) to back Radiant Capital’s RFP-49. It proposes establishing a Convenience Class to facilitate the remediation of small deposits ($10 to $1,000) affected by the October 16, 2025, security breach, with a 30% haircut. The feedback from vlMGP holders will guide Magpie’s voting decision on RIP #18, ensuring alignment with the interests of its stakeholders.

Motivation

Radiant Capital’s proposal introduces a structured approach to remediating affected wallets by prioritizing smaller depositors, reducing administrative burden, and enhancing efficiency. Radpie has put forth RIP #18 to determine its stance on RFP-49, and as a key governance participant, Magpie must now decide how to vote on Radpie’s proposal.

By consulting vlMGP holders, Magpie ensures transparency and community-driven governance. Supporting RIP #18 could reinforce Magpie’s commitment to efficient crisis management, bolster trust within the ecosystem, and demonstrate active participation in decisions affecting its SubDAOs.

Specification

Vote on whether Magpie should support Radpie’s RIP #18, which endorses the creation of a Convenience Class for small deposit remediation proposed by Radiant Capital.
